I've always been a fan of "Magic the Gathering", especially the brilliant artworks.
One day, I found the Spiritmonger in one of my boosters. This is one of the best cards ever, imho. Just one bloody hell of a beast.

Anyway, I also love the artwork done by Glen Angus. Just a few days ago, I found out, that Angus past away 2 years ago and I was shocked. I didn't know that until now, he was always one of my favourite artist. To honour him and his art, I did this approach on the Spiritmonger.
This is just the sketch, I'm already working on the coloured version.
