This is a Nord-Warrior, as seen in the "Elder Scrolls" games. The upcoming Elder Scrolls will take place in Skyrim, the home of the Nord, and I got inspired by this.

I started this after seeing the first Skyrim artwork and it took me until today.
I put all of my blood and sweat into this, this is the best I can currently pull of. And I'm proud of it, because it took so long I wanted to give up so many times (because I just started out of the blue without any idea of what the hell I got into with this picture).

Anyway, I used no 1 on 1 references. The process of this picture was "paint, break apart and put it back together" until it looked right. The arm, for example, was painted about 20 times (and probably still isn't 100% correct).

Wow, this was posted on the official Elder Scrolls Facebook page yesterday :) What an honour! And I'v got 1700 "likes" and more than 300 comments there for it, how 'bout that! I am certainly enjoying my few minutes of fame :D

My name is James Jensen, and I am a fellow Deviant. You can find my profile at [link] I am working on a project for Skyrim gamers called TESVSFU, which stands for TESV Save File Utility. You can find the Skyrim Nexus location at [link] and my development blog at [link] The application is freeware.

The next version of TESVSFU has the ability to contain and display custom pictures for each character profile. I have examined many pictures, perhaps hundreds, and decided one of yours would be a perfect addition.

With your permission, I would like to use a crop of "Son of Skyrim" for this distribution. The application will not be ready for a while, but when it is released, it will display a list of credits containing the contributors to this project. If I use your picture, I would list you as a contributor.

Please reply with either a "yes" or "no". If "yes", please add something like "I give you permission...etc".

If "no", I shall respect your decision and make sure your art does not appear with the distribution.
